We are seeking an Associate Program Director to support VBM in our Scottsdale office. This position would be responsible for leading and assisting with in-person and virtual events, supporting development activities, organizing activism efforts, engaging in community outreach and general office administration.
Examples include (but are not limited to):
- planning volunteer events for people of all ages in the Greater Phoenix area that are inspired by Jewish values.
- facilitate AJJ’s social action fellowship for young adults or teens by mentoring fellows and coordinating group learning
- support VBM’s educational programming by attending virtual classes and provide support for in-person lectures and events
- join donor meetings and assist development staff with biannual mailing campaigns
- join activist spaces such as rallies and protests that support our values and mission
- create partnerships and build relationships with other community organizations in the social action space
- be available to accept donations
